Just three years ago, Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green admitted that he didn’t like Chris Paul, adding that he’s pushed the narrative to create the debate between him and Stephen Curry.
There was a time when Paul was the undisputed best point guard in the game, but Curry has been on top of him for the past six or seven years at the very least, and now they’re poised to be teammates.
Needless to say, that trade was a tough pill to swallow for some diehard Warriors fans, as it didn’t seem like Paul cared for the Warriors or Curry either.
However, that may not be the case, as the veteran point guard recently claimed that they actually go a long way back together, showing his excitement about the possibility of teaming up.
“Me and Steph have known each other a long time. My wife was at his wedding, I think him and his wife was our wedding… I’m excited to get a chance to play alongside him.”

Then again, it’s not like he was going to say anything different.
Paul and Curry have starred in some epic battles throughout the years, with the latter often getting the last laugh over his older colleague.
Paul’s fit in Steve Kerr’s system is also a big reason for concern.
While he’s undeniably one of the greatest and smartest players to ever walk the face of the Earth, he’s always played in a completely opposite style from what the Warriors usually do.
But great players usually figure it out, and if ego doesn’t stand in the way, he might be just what the Warriors need to get back to their title-winning ways.
