After one of their worst seasons ever, the Houston Rockets are intent on turning a corner and creating a new squad that can become playoff contenders again.
They have already hired a new head coach, Ime Udoka, but there is a chance that the front office gets even busier before next season.
You should get ready to see a few new faces playing for the Rockets.
According to Jake Fischer, via NBACentral, the Rockets are “heavily linked” to both Fred VanVleet and Dillon Brooks.

Both of these players could add new energy and experience to the team’s roster.
They could also presumably take on leadership roles with the youthful group too.
VanVleet and Brooks are a couple of players with something to prove.
After years of being a centerpiece in Toronto, VanVleet has reportedly soured on playing for the Raptors.
As for Brooks, he had a postseason he’d like to forget, causing controversy before being pushed out of the first round by the Los Angeles Lakers.
These two surely won’t be the last names linked to the Rockets and it’s not clear if the team could get one or both of them.
Of course, James Harden is another player who has been tied to the Rockets.
Harden allegedly has a keen interest in coming back to Houston.
Other players, such as Brook Lopez, have also been floated as possible new recruits for the team.
We don’t know which of these players will actually make the move to Houston.
But it’s very obvious that the Rockets are not going to sit on their hands in the next few weeks and months.
Expect a lot of news coming out of Texas this summer.
