The Los Angeles Lakers have been very active during the start of free agency.
They entered knowing they needed to fill out their roster around LeBron James and Anthony Davis.
LA was looking to add depth to their bench in free agency.
Some of the names they have already signed are Gabe Vincent, Cam Reddish, and Jaxson Hayes.
But it seemed obvious that the Lakers prioritized bringing back many of their players from last year.
The Lakers agreed to a deal with Rui Hachimura who they acquired last season via trade.
Now it appears the Lakers have agreed to a two-year deal with D’Angelo Russell as well.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski, the Lakers signed Russell to a two-year $37 million deal.

Most Lakers fans are thrilled to have Russell back in the fold.
He was their starting point guard for most of the year after the Lakers traded for him.
It would make sense that he assumes that role again.
W for both sides. Great deal.

The price tag of Russell seems to be in favor of the Lakers.
It appears he took a team-friendly deal to return.

Not many people have anything bad to say about the Lakers’ offseason.
The Lakers plan to use all of their available cap space to try and build a championship contender.

It will be interesting to see what other moves the Lakers intend to make.
But it is hard to be upset with the plethora of moves they have made so far in free agency.
