It’s a well-known fact that Cleveland Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell is a diehard baseball fan.
He even used to play before an injury cut his promising career short, and he dedicated himself to hoops.
But one never forgets its first love, and Mitchell often takes to Twitter to share some of his opinions and thoughts on the game.
That was again on full display on Tuesday night when he showered Amed Rosario with praise after the Cleveland Guardians star went 3 for 5 with a home run and 4 RBIs in the Guardians’ 6-5 win over the Atlanta Braves.

Rosario got hot early in the game and then gave his team the lead back in the bottom of the 7th, but Ozzie Albies managed to force extra-innings with a solo homer at the top of the 9th.
Then, David Fry was able to drive Rosario home for the game-winning run to take his team’s record to 42-43.
The Guardians are in second place in the AL Central and will look to get over .500 to make a late push at the division.
As for the Cleveland Cavaliers, the team has been mostly quiet in the offseason, but there are some rumors about a potential big trade coming in the next couple of weeks, with Jarrett Allen being a potential candidate to be on his way out.
For now, Mitchell will just have to settle for watching The Big Show and getting ready for what could be a make-or-break season for J.B. Bickerstaff’s team after a disappointing outing in the playoffs.
