Years from now, NBA fans will still be talking about the 2015-16 Golden State Warriors and the record they had.
During that season, they secured an astonishing 73-9 record, taking a firm place in NBA history.
Draymond Green spoke about that wild, epic season with Paul George on his Podcast P show, via ClutchPoints.
Green said that every single game was like a “circus” during that incredible run and that each team in the NBA was fighting harder than ever to beat them.
“The amount of stuff I played through that year and we all played through just to get that was insane… No matter where we went, it’s like the circus was coming to town.”

Green commented that during last season his Warriors suffered 9 defeats in the span of 13 games.
After that happened, he and Steph Curry looked at one another, amazed that there was a season when they only lost nine total games for the whole year.
The 2015-16 Warriors really were a team unlike any other.
Their core was still the same, with the big three of Green, Curry, and Klay Thompson running the show.
Others like Andre Iguodala, Shaun Livingston, Andrew Bogut, and Harrison Barnes added a lot to their success too.
As did head coach Steve Kerr, as well as Luke Walton, who served as interim coach for a couple of months as Kerr recovered from back surgery.
For a while, it seemed like the Warriors just couldn’t lose, creating a strong 24-0 streak that was eventually stopped by the Milwaukee Bucks.
In the end, they returned to the NBA Finals and looked like they were on their way to another championship ring.
But after earning a 3-1 lead over the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Warriors made history in another way: they gave up that advantage and lost in the Finals.
That just capped off what will forever be an unforgettable season.
