The Cincinnati Reds have been one of the most surprising teams in baseball this year.

Many expected them to be in the cellar of the NL Central this season, but they have done the opposite.

The Reds are in first place in the Central with a record of 47-39.

One of the many reasons for their success is that they have been aggressive to call up their prospects.

The Reds are looking to take advantage of the season they are having by getting their best players to the big leagues.

Over the past 22 games, the Reds are tied with the Atlanta Braves as the best team in baseball.

According to Codify, the Reds have won 18 of their last 22 games and have established themselves as legitimate contenders.

The Reds have been almost unstoppable since calling up top prospect Elly De La Cruz.

The only series they have lost since De La Cruz got called up was to the Braves.

He has been electric, hitting for average and power while also showing off his elite speed.

The Reds have something special in De La Cruz and a bright future ahead.

Matt McLain and Andrew Abbott are some other Reds rookies who have helped jolt the team.

Abbott has made six starts with the Reds and he has been dominant.

His record is 4-0 and he has an ERA of 1.21.

Also, he has thrown 37.1 innings with 42 strikeouts.

The Reds have one of the brightest futures in baseball but these rookies are already showing they can contribute this year.
