The Philadelphia 76ers are reportedly asking a steep price for James Harden.
The former MVP doesn’t want to stay with the team anymore, but he opted in on the final year of his contract, hoping to find a new home via trade.
That’ll be easier said than done, as Daryl Morey is a tough negotiator, and other than the Los Angeles Clippers, there hasn’t been much of an interest in Harden’s services.
Nonetheless, it seems like the Sixers could use a veteran to sweeten the deal a little, as Legion Hoops reports that P.J. Tucker could be included alongside Harden as a package deal.

Ironically, Tucker could be a more sought-after commodity around the league than Harden at this point in his career.
Not to take a shot at Harden, but his big contract, impending free agency, and history of injuries and off-court activities — not to mention his poor outings in the playoffs — make him a risky bet.
Tucker, on the other hand, is on a team-friendly deal and is the kind of heard-headed defender, leader, and role player that all teams strive to get at a discount when he becomes available.
Even so, Morey has been known for dragging out deals for as long as possible.
He’ll never show his hand and won’t agree to make a big deal unless he’s 110% confident he’s on the winning end of that transaction, so it may be weeks — or even months — before we see Harden in new threads, barring a major turn of events.
