After the New York Jets added Aaron Rodgers during the offseason, there was an immediate energy within the organization.
They have been in search of a franchise quarterback, something that has evaded them for the past several years.
With Rodgers at the helm, the Jets now have high expectations, and not just for the regular season.
In a recent segment of ‘Speak’ on FS1, Joy Taylor highlighted what is expected of Rodgers and the Jets.
“Rodgers must win a playoff game this season for it to be considered a success,” said Taylor.

The Jets have the longest active playoff drought, which spans 12 seasons.
With Rodgers at the helm and the amount of offensive talent he has around him, many are expecting the Jets to break that streak.
Taylor took this a step further, indicating the pressure that Rodgers is under to not only make the playoffs, but win a playoff game.
The Jets made a significant investment in him, and they will be looking for an instant yield on that investment.
After having one of the league’s best defenses in 2022, the Jets’ offense could finally be unlocked by an elite quarterback.
Whether he can click with his new roster remains to be seen.
Even if Rodgers can connect with them, however, the Jets’ division will not be a cakewalk.
The Buffalo Bills are still led by Josh Allen, and the Miami Dolphins and New England Patriots aren’t going away without a fight.
