Minnesota Timberwolves fans have been through a lot.

Even with Kevin Garnett in town, they never made it to the NBA Finals, and have been a bottom-feeding team more often than not.

That’s why you know diehard fans are quite loyal, as shown by a Jeopardy! contestant who opened up about her love for the Timberwolves before getting started.

She admitted to being a season-ticket holder for the Timberwolves, adding that last season didn’t go as planned, but she’s hopeful that Anthony Edwards could lead them to success in the future.

Moreover, she also said that she has a cat named after backup big man Naz Reid, who recently re-signed a contract to stay with the organization.

The contestant claimed that her cat loves watching basketball with her family and watching the basketball go all over the court.

It’s good Reid decided to stay with the Timberwolves then, as there could’ve been a bit of an identity crisis if she suddenly decided to change the cat’s name to, say, Luka Garza.

Whatever the case, it seems like the Timberwolves need to shake things up a little bit, as the Rudy Gobert trade didn’t have the impact they expected it’d have.

His fit next to Karl-Anthony Towns is odd, to say the least, and maybe they’d be better off by trying to move the latter to build a better team around Edwards.

We’ll have to ask this fan her thoughts on that take.
