The Philadelphia Eagles had a successful 2022 season, finishing with a 14-3 record and reaching the Super Bowl, but they suffered a heartbreaking defeat there by blowing a 10-point lead to the Kansas City Chiefs.

A few of their faces may have changed, but the Eagles are eager to get back onto the field and redeem themselves this fall and winter.

There are about two months to go before the 2023 NFL season starts, and center Jason Kelce seems ready to kick things off as we are now 62 days away from kickoff, per NFL Network.

Philly led 24-14 at halftime of last season’s Super Bowl, and it looked like perhaps they were going to cruise their way to their second Vince Lombardi Trophy in six seasons.

But their defense fell apart in the second half, as they allowed three touchdowns in quick succession, not to mention the last-second field goal by Harrison Butker that put Kansas City over the top.

This offseason, Pro Bowl running back Miles Sanders left to join the Carolina Panthers, while defensive tackle Javon Hargrave is now with the San Francisco 49ers, the team the Eagles defeated in the NFC Championship Game.

But replacing Hargrave is Jalen Carter, the No. 9 pick in April’s draft who is considered to have lots of potential.

D’Andre Swift will take Sanders’ place at running back, and he averaged 5.5 yards per carry last season with the Detroit Lions.

Kelce is one of the NFL’s best centers, and he has made the Pro Bowl six times, including each of the last four seasons.

The Super Bowl gave him an opportunity to compete against and one-up his younger brother Travis Kelce, the outstanding tight end for the Chiefs.
