The Golden State Warriors have retained their original Big Three of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green.

After the tumultuous 2022-23 NBA season, the team has made some big changes this offseason.

Jordan Poole was traded to the Washington Wizards in exchange for Chris Paul.

Stephen Curry recently opened up on the addition of Paul to the team’s roster, sharing his happiness to join forces with one of his biggest rivals since he made it to the league.

“I mean, I’m super excited in terms of our history, competing against CP over the years. He’s an unbelievable talent, one of the best point guards to ever play this game. And, it’s well understood every team that he’s been on, has been elevated,” Curry said.

Curry adds that the presence of Paul will benefit the Warriors with his knowledge and the way he can run the offense.

It’s still unclear if Paul will be a starter or the leader of the second unit, but he’s set to contribute however he can and make the Warriors a championship team again.

Paul isn’t getting any younger, but at age 38, he has shown that he still got it and will try to make one final push for a title with Golden State.

It remains to be seen how well Paul will mesh with the rest of the team, but everyone seems to be embracing his presence.

The Warriors have unfinished business and will look to return to championship form next season.
