Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots have been used to being at the top of the AFC East Division more often than not.
They’ve seen some very good teams challenge them for the top spot, and they’ve seen those teams being dismantled and hitting the drawing board again over and over.
But all good things eventually come to an end, especially in sports, and Belichick’s dominance isn’t the exception to that rule.
That’s why NFL analyst Craig Carton states he’s not worried about the Patriots next season at all, predicting that there’s just no way that they’ll beat his New York Jets, even if they always seem to find ways to beat them.

Carton went as far as to say that ‘everybody knows’ that Bill Belichick’s career as a football coach is dead, mostly because the Patriots simply don’t have a good team.
He also said that they’re not going anywhere with ‘Macaroni Jones’ as their quarterback, adding that he respects Belichick as a coach even if he doesn’t like him as a person.
Of course, his words should be taken with a grain of salt, as he’s a well-known diehard Jets fan, so he — obviously — doesn’t have a lot of love for Belichick.
Even so, there have been multiple reports about a feud between Belichick and team owner Robert Kraft, so he might not be wrong in his prediction about Belichick’s career, and it’s not like the Patriots have a lot of weapons to prove him wrong next season either.
