Deebo Samuel has established himself as one of the most dynamic players in the NFL.
The former second-round pick from the San Francisco 49ers is informally known as a ‘wide back,’ given his abilities as a rusher and receiver.
As the 2023 season approaches, Samuel and the rest of his team will look to avenge their NFC Championship loss from one season ago.
Samuel recently appeared on CBS Sports Radio, where he was asked about the 2022 NFL Championship, among other topics.
In this interview, when Zach Gleb brought up their loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, Samuel became upset with the questioning and ended up leaving the call.
Gleb’s final question to him was, “Do you have a message for Eagles fans?”
Deebo Samuel was on with @CBSSportsRadio and he was getting asked about the #Eagles — and he just didn’t want to deal with it again. He ended the interview early.
That Eagles/49ers rematch cannot come soon enough.

For whatever reason, that was the straw that broke the camel’s back.
After Gleb asked that question, a member of Samuel’s PR team said that he was heading into camp, indicating that the interview was over.
Gleb responded by calling this a “joke,” and that Samuel was slated to be on the show for at least 10 more minutes.
Samuel and the 49ers are slated to face off against the Eagles on December third, a rematch of the NFC Championship.
As Gleb indicated during this interview, many Eagles players believed that had Brock Purdy not gotten injured, the outcome of the game could have been vastly different.
They will have a chance to see how this matchup plays out, hoping that they will have a healthy quarterback in this late-season rematch.
