Tuesday night was a special one for the National League All-Stars.
Down 2-1 in the eighth inning, the tide turned when Colorado Rockies catcher Elias Diaz hit a two-run homer to give the NL the lead.
The NL held on for their first All-Star victory since 2012.
But along the way, two All-Star catchers made some important history.
Atlanta Braves backstop Sean Murphy started behind the plate and caught multiple runners stealing, making this the first All-Star Game with multiple runners caught since 2008.
Los Angeles Dodgers catcher Will Smith took over late in the game and stole second base in the eighth inning, becoming the third catcher to steal a base in the All-Star Game.
On Twitter, MLB Stats posted these interesting facts.

Both catchers had nights to remember.
Murphy drew the start for the NL and showed off his arm behind the plate.
Smith took over towards the end of the game and also had an interesting night.
In the top of the eighth, Smith stole second base.
That put the tying run in scoring position with Diaz at the plate.
Shortly thereafter, Diaz hit his home run.
But there was some impressive history made in Tuesday night’s Midsummer Classic on the stolen base and caught stealing fronts.
In the end, it led to the National League securing their first All-Star victory in 11 years after losing the last nine Midsummer Classics.
The American League had won every All-Star Game since 2013, but the National League turned the tide late and secured the win.
