For the first time since 2012, the National League claimed victory in the All-Star Game.
Down 2-1 in the top of the eighth inning, Colorado Rockies catcher Elias Diaz delivered a pinch-hit two-run homer to put the Senior Circuit on top, where they would stay.
Craig Kimbrel ran into a bit of trouble in the bottom of the ninth, but the National League held off the American League and claimed the win in Seattle.
After the final out, Lourdes Gurriel Jr, Juan Soto, and Nick Castellanos shared a nice moment, as the three embraced to celebrate the NL’s victory.
On Twitter, MLB posted a video of the three outfielders embracing following the win.

It’s been a long time coming for the National League.
The American League had won every All-Star Game since 2013, with the exception of 2020, when the All-Star festivities were cancelled due to COVID-19.
In those nine All-Star Games, the National League had led for a total of four innings.
But that all changed on Tuesday night in Seattle.
The NL previously had gone since 1996 without winning an All-Star Game before the streak was snapped in 2010.
They won again in 2011 and in 2012.
But at long last, the Senior Circuit emerged victorious in the Midsummer Classic.
It was a game full of drama, but all it took was a two-run shot from Diaz to put the NL in front.
The victory was hard earned, and Soto, Castellanos, and Gurriel shared in their relief after an 11-year drought.
No longer does the All-Star Game determine home-field advantage in the World Series, but there was finally a different outcome this time around.
