The Cleveland Cavaliers were supposed to be one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference last season.

But eventually, the pressures of the playoffs were too much for them and they didn’t make it past the first round.

They have made some important adjustments in the offseason, including the addition of Max Strus.

The Cavaliers were quite happy when they acquired Strus after his time with the Miami Heat.

They are so happy, in fact, that they released a video online of Strus in the practice gym putting up shots.

“This dude can shoot,” the team promised on Twitter.

Strus was good for 11.5 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 2.1 assists on 41% from the field in 2022-23.

The Cavaliers are adamant that Strus will continue to shoot well in the new season.

They want to fill their roster with strong point-makers to surround the backcourt of Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland.

As of now, it looks like Strus will be a bench player, which will take some of the pressure off of both Mitchell and Garland.

This could help the team remain in better shape when the postseason rolls around.

Their collapse in the playoffs was very disappointing to fans, especially because of the premium talent on the team.

But the bright lights of the postseason proved that even with the talent they hold, the Cavaliers suffer from an incredibly thin roster.

Strus is no stranger to the playoffs and the pressure of playing at such a level won’t scare him at all.

That is just one of the reasons why he was just signed to a four-year deal.
