The All-Star Game and its festivities have come and gone, and now it’s time to prepare for the second half of the 2023 MLB season.

Last night’s All-Star Game was certainly a treat for all MLB fans.

The National League emerged victorious over the American League for the first time since 2012, winning by a score of 3-2 thanks to Elias Diaz’s go-ahead home run.

In the first inning, Randy Arozarena picked up a base-hit after making a spectacular catch to rob Ronald Acuna Jr. of a hit.

Freddie Freeman was mic’d up while Arozarena was on-base and jokingly told him to pick between robbing hits and getting hits.

After Arozarena “apologized”, he took off for second base while Freeman was still talking to the FOX broadcast.

FOX tweeted the video of this hilarious moment.

“Everything’s okay, he says he’s sorry… OH AND HE’S RUNNING”

Freeman was still in the middle of chatting with Arozarena, as well as the FOX broadcast crew when the Tampa Bay Rays star took off for second base.

Sean Murphy ultimately threw Arozarena out at second, erasing the leadoff hit.

But his decision to run certainly caught Freeman by surprise.

The Los Angeles Dodgers first baseman had to react on the fly while he was still conversing with Joe Davis and John Smoltz.

Fortunately for Freeman and the National League, Arozarena was ultimately erased when he was thrown out at second base.

This made for quite a hilarious moment during last night’s All-Star Game.

Everything happened very quickly.

It went from a good-natured conversation to surprise over a potential stolen base.

But it was still one of the more memorable moments from the All-Star Game.
