The NFL season is just around the corner, which means it’s officially time to make some bold predictions and share our hot takes about what may or may not happen in the coming months.

Judging by the past, the context, and what could be at stake, there are several figures around the league that need to have a strong season in 2023.

With that in mind, former NFL star James Jones shared his picks for the top-five non-QBs under the most pressure entering the upcoming campaign.

At No. 5, he chose Chase Young, citing that the Washington Commanders chose not to pick up his fifth-year option, so he’ll have to prove to them that he’s still a dominant defensive force in the league.

Then, at No. 4, he chose HC Kevin Stefanski, explaining that he now has a full offseason to work with an elite quarterback and that the stakes are high after two non-playoff seasons.

Unsurprisingly, Odell Beckham Jr. also got the nod at No. 3, as he’s set to make a lot of money despite missing plenty of time with injuries, so he needs to prove that all the teams that doubted him and his health were wrong.

Then, he chose Darren Waller, who’s expected to have a major impact with the New York Giants after some injuries with the Las Vegas Raiders.

Last but not least, he talked about Kellen Moore as the new OC for the Los Angeles Chargers, mostly because plenty of people called out the Dallas Cowboys for letting him go, so he needs to prove that he’s up to the task now.
