NFL training camps will get underway soon, and every team in the league is looking to evaluate their players and finalize their rosters ahead of the start of the 2023 season.

Although camps will get started soon, superstar wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins still remains without a team after getting released by the Arizona Cardinals earlier in the NFL offseason.

Despite being linked to a number of teams, like the New England Patriots, Kansas City Chiefs, Buffalo Bills, and Tennessee Titans, the five-time All-Pro has yet to be pen to paper, which has some thinking these teams are seeing something they don’t like.

It remains to be seen if that is the case, but it appears that the Titans are currently the betting favorite to sign the veteran wide receiver, according to ProFootballTalk.

Although the Titans aren’t considered to be a title contender, even if they are able to bring in Hopkins, Tennessee might be the only team willing to budge when it comes to a contract offer.

The Patriots infamously don’t bend to players and are perfectly fine moving on without signing big-name stars, so it could come down to the Titans unless another team swoops in from nowhere.

It’ll be interesting to see if this change of the odds means that Hopkins is closer to coming to a deal than he has been throughout this process.

At this point, Hopkins may need to sign a one-year prove-it deal in order to get the contract he wants next year at this time.
