The New York Jets are perhaps the most hyped team in the league entering the 2023 campaign, and rightfully so.

Adding Aaron Rodgers to a team that was already up and coming made them a legit Super Bowl contender for the next two seasons, at least.

However, former NFL player Greg Jennings doesn’t seem to be that hyped, as he recently took to “The Carton Show” to predict that the Jets would go 1-5 to start the 2023 season.

Carton — a well-known Jets fan — dismissed Jennings’ prediction and claimed that the only “questionable” game they had was against the Kansas City Chiefs, adding that the game will be at MetLife Stadium, not at Arrowhead Stadium.

Truth be told, the Jets don’t exactly have the easiest schedule to kick off the season.

They host the Buffalo Bills for Week 1, and divisional games are always tough, especially if Josh Allen is on the other side of the field.

Then, they hit the road to face the Dallas Cowboys, and while they’re obviously a far superior team, winning on the road is never easy.

The Jets later head back home for back-to-back games vs. the New England Patriots (which is a game they should win) and then vs. the reigning champions, the Chiefs.

Then, they go to Mile High to face the new-look Denver Broncos, who should be much better this time, and then head back to MetLife for a date with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Perhaps 1-5 is a stretch, but they definitely won’t be 6-0 either.
