All eyes will be set on the New York Jets this upcoming season.

The team traded for Aaron Rodgers, adding a future Hall-of-Famer at the most crucial position on the field to a team that already had several promising playmakers on offense and an elite defensive unit.

Nonetheless, they have yet to take the field together, which is why former WR Greg Jennings isn’t ready to just give them a divisional banner already.

Per Jennings, the Jets are the third-best team in the division.

He went on the record on “The Carton Show” to explain that the Miami Dolphins are coming off making the playoffs and will get their starting QB back on the field and fully healthy, stating that they’re not just going to lay around and take third place just because the Jets added Rodgers.

Needless to say, this is a rather hot take by the former wideout.

On paper, the Jets should be considered one of the best teams not only in the AFC East but in all of football.

Of course, we know paper doesn’t win Super Bowls, and we have yet to see how Rodgers will perform in a new environment.

And the Dolphins did look better than one might conclude by last season’s record, not to mention the fact that the Buffalo Bills should still be considered a strong force in the AFC.

Whatever the case, one thing’s for sure: The playoff race will be one for the ages, and we just can’t wait.
