Packers RB Is Unhappy With His Position In ESPN’s Rankings

The Green Bay Packers have historically been a strong team at the quarterback position.

Going from Brett Favre to Aaron Rodgers, the franchise has been all set at the position for decades.

However, regardless of Rodgers’ undeniable impact and greatness, Aaron Jones has also been a steady contributor to the Packers offense for years now.

Even so, he seems to be overlooked and underrated, as became evident in this year’s ESPN rankings for running backs.

That’s why Jones took to social media to share a screenshot that cited he’s sixth in total yards and third in total touchdowns among running backs for the past four years.

Truth be told, perhaps people forget about him and his impact because of the fact that he played with Rodgers, but that’s not fair at all.

All Jones could get in this ranking was an honorable mention, joining Dameon Pierce (Houston Texans), Breece Hall (New York Jets), Travis Etienne (Jacksonville Jaguars), Rhamondre Stevenson (New England Patriots), and Kenneth Walker (Seattle Seahawks).

The top 10 consisted of Austin Ekeler (Los Angeles Chargers), Tony Pollard (Dallas Cowboys), Dalvin Cook (formerly with the Minnesota Vikings), Alvin Kamara (New Orleans Saints), Jonathan Taylor (Indianapolis Colts), Derrick Henry (Tennessee Titans), Saquon Barkley (New York Giants), Josh Jacobs (Las Vegas Raiders), Christian McCaffrey (San Francisco 49ers), and Nick Chubb (Cleveland Browns).

No disrespect to any of the aforementioned players, but Jones could have a case for being better than, at the very least, three or four of them.
