Not so long ago, NFL fans and analysts alike put the Cincinnati Bengals on blast for taking Ja’Marr Chase in the NFL Draft.

It’s not that Chase wasn’t a potential superstar, but the fact that he had sat out a year of college football, combined with their glaring and obvious need for help on the offensive line, made it seem like they could’ve put that pick to better use.

Fast forward to today, and Chase and Joe Burrow have cemented themselves as one of the best offensive tandems in the league.

As a matter of fact, NFL analyst Brian Baldinger believes they’re the best QB-WR duo in the league right now.

Even though Chase didn’t have better stats than, say, Justin Jefferson, the chemistry they’ve developed since their days together at LSU makes the difference here.

Baldinger states that they’ve already won a National Championship together in college, so they know they’re capable of doubling down and adding a Vince Lombardi trophy to their trophy case as well.

Also, the love and support they’ve shown for each other since they’ve been in the league together make it more than evident that they’re not only teammates but also friends, and that could take a team the long way, especially when things get difficult.

They’re entering their third year together as teammates, and chances are they’ll stay together for many, many more years, so they might break and set all kinds of marks and records for quarterbacks and wide receivers.
