In one of the least surprising turn of events in recent NFL history, the New York Jets will be featured on HBO’s ‘Hard Knocks’ next season.

This is far from shocking, considering they just traded for Aaron Rodgers, who happens to be not only one of the greatest throwers of football in the history of this game, but also a never-ending source of headlines, hot takes, and controversies.

Evidently, HBO wants to have a juicy show and a behind-the-scenes look at the Rodgers era in Gotham Green.

Unsurprisingly, Rodgers isn’t much of a fan of that, recently stating that the show was pretty much ‘forced down their throats.’

With that in mind, Rich Eisen showed his support for the Jets quarterback, stating that he’s fully on board with him if he decides to take an ‘us against the world’ kind of mentality.

Moreover, Eisen questioned whether NFL Films will push Rodgers to the edge, predicting that he doesn’t think the QB will be on camera as often as the producers would want, and explaining that they will eventually have to play ball with him to have a good show.

Truth be told, it’s highly unlikely that they would’ve chosen the Jets to be featured on the show next season if they had kept Zach Wilson under center.

But as much as they would love to be on top of the news cycle and have everyone tuning in to get some never-before-seen Aaron Rodgers, that’s just not likely to happen next season.
