The Golden State Warriors went to great lengths to keep Draymond Green and make some other moves to revamp their roster in the offseason, even if that meant giving up on Jordan Poole sooner than they would’ve wanted to.

That’s for one reason and one reason only, which is that they trusted Stephen Curry to continue being one of the best players on Earth.

The Warriors believe that their championship window will stay open for as long as Curry is healthy and on the floor, and there’s no reason to think that he’s going to slow down any time soon.

That’s why those who speculated about his future and whether he could walk away from basketball to pursue a career in golf have another thing coming, as he recently made it loud and clear that hoops are the No. 1 priority in his life right now, according to Warriors on NBCS:

Of course, Curry has proven to be an excellent golfer, and he’s fresh off winning the American Century Championship, so it wouldn’t be crazy to think that he could choose to pursue a career as a pro golfer somewhere down the line.

Even so, that doesn’t mean he’s just going to walk away from basketball when he’s still at the peak of his game, and it looks like he could still be an elite scorer and playmaker for the next five years at the very least.

Don’t worry, golfers, he’s not going to go after you.

As for his rivals in the NBA, that’s not exactly great news.
