Los Angeles Lakers legend James Worthy knows a thing or two about making LA proud.

During his 12 years in the league, he was a seven-time All-Star and helped the Purple And Gold score three championships.

Worthy will forever hold a special place in the history of the team.

And he believes that LeBron James will as well.

In fact, speaking to TMZ Sports, Worthy said that James might earn a statue not only in Los Angeles but in Cleveland too.

He said that James’ greatness cannot be denied after winning the Finals for both the Lakers and the Cavaliers.

He said that means he could be memorialized by both teams in the future.

Oddly enough, he isn’t so sure that James could also get one in Miami, even though he won two championships for the Heat.

Worthy’s point has been up for debate for a while now.

Many NBA fans have wondered how James will be remembered with the multiple teams he has played for.

Where does he stack up in the histories of the Heat, Cavaliers, and Lakers?

For many, his work for Cleveland has been the most impressive.

He earned that team its first Finals trophy and also brought it back from a historic deficit in one of the most talked-about Finals of all time.

James is still known as the man who ended the Cleveland sports curse.

What he has done for the Lakers is also special, but some fans don’t rank him among the best Lakers players ever.

James has obviously had an impact on every team he has played for.

But does that mean he will get a statue, or multiple statues, when he hangs up his jersey?
