Tyreek Hill is one of the best wide receivers in the NFL, at least, in the eyes of many analysts and fans.

Over the last two seasons, Hill has been one of the top-three receivers in terms of yards and will look to continue that in 2023.

On a recent episode of the “It Needed To Be Said” podcast, Hill claimed that he’ll be able to break 2,000 receiving yards this season.

He also indicated that the Miami Dolphins have what it takes to win the Super Bowl.

On the heels of these comments, Craig Carton responded on his show, reeling in Hill’s expectations.

“Have you seen who your quarterback is?” Carton asked.

Tyreek Hill says he will get 2,000 yards and a Super Bowl this season Will it happen?

“Have you seen who your quarterback is? You ain’t getting 2,000 yards and you ain’t winning a Super Bowl with Tua as your quarterback.” —@craigcartonlive pic.twitter.com/us3VC5pHV1

Carton followed that up with: “You ain’t winning a Super Bowl with Tua as your quarterback.”

Tua Tagovailoa began the 2022 season with impressive numbers, a significant jump from his prior season.

The Dolphins found themselves out to a hot start, and many were quick to dub them a top-tier AFC roster.

However, after a series of concussion issues, Tagovailoa had to take a break from the game, to make sure he’s able to play moving forward.

While Tagovailoa had once stated that he has considered retirement, it looks like he’ll be ready to start for the Dolphins in 2023.

In the eyes of Carton, however, the Dolphins are hindered by Tagovailoa’s role as their starting quarterback.

He believes that Hill and the Dolphins are held back by Tagovailoa, that a 2,000-yard season is difficult enough, and that it’s impossible with their current situation.
