When you play in the NBA for 20 years, you will accumulate many impressive stats and achievements.
That is exactly what LeBron James has done throughout his career.
But James has a unique backstory when it comes to the number he wears.
He spent his first seven seasons wearing No. 23 for the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Then he switched to No. 6 when he signed with the Miami Heat.
Ever since James has gone back and forth between the two numbers depending on where he plays.
Well, NBA on ESPN showed off the stats of James when wearing each number.
You could argue that he has had two separate Hall-of-Fame careers, one with each number.

James took over as the NBA’s all-time leading scorer last year.
He scored 27,448 points while wearing No. 23 compared to 11,204 while wearing No. 6.
The jersey number has become a topic of conversation because James recently announced he was switching back to No. 23.
James has worn No. 6 for the duration of his Lakers career until this upcoming season.
He said the change was in respect to Bill Russell, whose number has been retired by the league.
Also, the number change is a great way to increase jersey sales.
Most Lakers fans are going to want a new James jersey with the No. 23 on the back.
Legendary Laker Kobe Bryant is one player that has two jersey numbers retired.
Maybe James is hoping the same thing can happen to him.
