Bill Belichick is often regarded as one of the best head coaches in NFL history.
He helped lead the New England Patriots to six Super Bowls, one of the greatest runs by an organization in league history.
Despite this long-standing success, the Patriots have only made the playoffs once in the past three seasons.
Many believe that Belichick could have been propped up by Tom Brady, given his lack of wins since Brady left.
In a recent appearance on “The Rich Eisen Show,” Patriots insider Tom E. Curran indicated that Belichick is on the “hot seat.”
“He’s been there with different levels I’d warmth since 2019.”

Curran went on to say that this isn’t Belichick’s first time in this position, as “he’s been there with different levels of warmth since 2019.”
2019 was Brady’s last season with the Patriots.
Despite going 12-4 in the regular season, the Patriots lost their Wild Card game to the Tennessee Titans.
If Belichick isn’t able to help lead the Patriots back to the postseason, it could be his final year with the team, as Curran points out.
The NFL is a “What have you done for me lately?” league.
If a team or head coach’s efforts don’t result in consistent success, the fanbase can be quick to turn on them, no matter what their past performances were.
Mac Jones hasn’t necessarily been the quarterback that the Patriots drafted him to be, even though Belichick has continued to sing his praises.
The Patriots’ AFC East rivals have done nothing but improve during the offseason, which could be a bad sign for them.
Will they be able to overcome these odds, making their way back to the top of the division?
