It’s not unusual to see NBA players participating in Pro-Am tournaments or games every now and then during the offseason.

Even the late great Kobe Bryant did it multiple times, giving the fans an opportunity to watch him play live without spending a lot to get into an NBA game.

As Ballislife.com posted on Twitter, today marks the 21st anniversary of Kobe’s legendary performance at the iconic Rucker Park, where he dominated right after winning his first three championships with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Of course, fans reacted to the post to share their thoughts and memories about the legendary shooting guard, who tragically passed away three years ago.

Kobe a real basketball player. This don’t even look right. But this was solid for the Youngins.

That’s some of the rarest and most entertaining footage of the Black Mamba.

He was still a young player but was already a superstar in the league, and the craziest part is that he would go on to have yet another full Hall of Fame-caliber career in the second stage of his playing days.

Kobe was a pure entertainer and a guy who never cheated the game.

He always gave 110% percent because he knew some fans would only get one chance to watch him play live, which is why he played through injuries and even in some somewhat meaningless games with the very same intensity and competitiveness as if it were Game 7 of the NBA Finals.

Love him or hate him, there will never be another player like the great Kobe Bean Bryant.
