When one is a starting quarterback in the NFL, there is always an inherent amount of pressure, as it is the most important position in all of team sports.
But when a QB hasn’t led his team to enough wins, and when he also hasn’t played up to his potential yet, it creates additional pressure for him.
It is debatable which QB1 is under the most pressure as training camps for the 2023 season approach, but sports personality Colin Cowherd feels it is Justin Fields of the Chicago Bears.

In two pro seasons, Fields hasn’t quite lived up to the potential people felt he had when he was the No. 11 pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.
He has completed just 59.7 percent of his passes, and he has thrown only 24 touchdown passes against 21 interceptions.
Cowherd pointed out that Fields also has the worst record of any starting quarterback over the last two seasons at 5-20.
Defenders may point out the lack of talent Chicago has had, but Cowherd mentioned the fact that Andrew Luck went 11-5 in each of his first three seasons even though his Indianapolis Colts had a poor team around him.
Now, Fields will have wide receiver D.J. Moore to throw the football to, while running back D’Onta Foreman will give him a real threat in the backfield.
In three seasons of college football, Fields completed 68.4 percent of his pass attempts, and one has to wonder why he can’t show at least some of that accuracy in the NFL.
Year three is usually a huge year for quarterbacks, as good or great ones will show something major by then, so this could be a make-or-break campaign for the Ohio State University product.
