The New York Jets have been the most talked-about team of the NFL offseason, and rightfully so.
They managed to add Aaron Rodgers to a team that already looked like a strong candidate to come out of the AFC next season, so expectations are obviously at an all-time high in Gotham.
However, despite what some people have argued and speculated, head coach Robert Saleh recently claimed that he doesn’t feel any pressure to get the job done next season.
And while those comments rubbed a lot of people the wrong way, former NFL star LeSean McCoy actually praised him for that, via “Speak” on FS1.

Per the retired running back, there are tougher and more important things in life to feel actual pressure for.
Moreover, he believes that coaches need to shake the pressure off to be good at their jobs.
Otherwise, they would make bad decisions because of that pressure, which would obviously lead to even more pressure.
Of course, there’s actually a lot of pressure on both Saleh and the Jets to go the distance, as they know their Super Bowl window won’t stay open forever, as Rodgers might not be there three years from now.
It’s also a fact that his job could be in jeopardy if the team underperforms or doesn’t make the playoffs, all things considered.
But winning a Super Bowl isn’t easy, and it’s not like all coaches that don’t reach the big game should be fired.
For better or worse, the Jets will be must-watch television.
