One NFL player who may be under the most pressure this season is Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields.
The Bears have reloaded their roster this offseason and need Fields to play up to his potential.
Last season, Fields took a step in the right direction.
He was elite as a runner but still has plenty of room to grow as a passer.
His 60.4% completion percentage last year was alarmingly bad.
The Bears need him to take strides as a passer this year if they are going to be in contention.
Each team wants to see confidence and self-awareness from their quarterback.
Fields recently called himself one of the top-five running quarterbacks of all time.
He put himself on a list with Cam Newton, Lamar Jackson, Steve Young, and Michael Vick.
Colin Cowherd seems to think that Fields lacks self-awareness.
“I’ve always been 60/40 that Justin Fields is going to succeed… I’m pulling back 5 percent. Lacks a little self awareness.”

Fields has started 25 games in his career and he is 5-20 in those games.
Cowherd even said that Fields is a bust as of now.
If Fields is as good as he thinks, the Bears will win the NFC North this year.
He has good playmakers around him with the addition of D.J. Moore.
Also, the division got substantially weaker now that Aaron Rodgers is gone.
This is the make-or-break season for Fields where we can find out what he truly is.
The Bears seem to be invested in him as their franchise quarterback.
That could change with another season full of losses from the 25-year-old.
