After two decades of mismanagement and creating a toxic work environment in the nation’s capital, the reign of Daniel Snyder as owner of the Washington Commanders franchise has officially come to an end.
Although there have been many hoops to jump through and some pushback from Snyder along the way, NFL owners took it to a vote on Thursday as whether to approve the sale of the Commanders to Josh Harris and his ownership group at the price tag of $6.05 billion.
Unsurprisingly, the NFL owners voted to approve the sale, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, and now Snyder will walk off into the sunset with an enormous profit while Harris and his group can begin to repair the damage done to the storied franchise.

The Snyder era in Washington D.C. can officially come to an end, making the team and the league that much better moving forward.
With Snyder now out as the team’s owner, it will be interesting to see what drastic changes might occur for the Commanders and what plans Harris and his ownership group have to improve things for the franchise.
Along with Harris and his deep pockets, Los Angeles Lakers legend Magic Johnson is part of the ownership group as he adds another professional sports team to his tally that includes the Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Sparks, and Los Angeles Football Club.
