Each NFL offseason there is nothing that gets people talking quite like Madden ratings.
The Madden video game franchise gives out ratings for each player before the game is released.
Fans and players alike always have something to say about the ratings certain players are given.
One player whose rating is under fire is Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams.
He checks in with a great rating of 97, ranking him as the third-best wide receiver in the game.
Yet, Josh Jacobs is confused as to how Adams’ rating went down after the season he had.
@EAMaddenNFL How does @tae15adams overall go down after having a career year?

Adams was one of the few players with a 99 rating last year.
He proceeded to put together an incredible year with the Raiders.
Adams caught 100 passes for 1,516 yards and 14 touchdowns.
He showed that he can produce elite numbers no matter who is at quarterback.
It will be interesting to see the year Adams has with Jimmy Garoppolo under center.
But it is safe to assume he will be incredibly productive once again.
Adams has been first-team All-Pro in three consecutive years.
He has shown no signs of slowing down despite crossing 30 years of age.
Even though Adams is starting Madden 24 with a 97 rating, he could be back to a 99 in no time.
The game updates its rating as the year goes on depending on how players perform.
Adams is easily one of the top wide receivers in the NFL.
You can expect his play to represent that this season for the Raiders.
