The reign of Daniel Snyder as owner of the Washington Commanders has officially come to an end, with the NFL owners coming together to vote on the approval of the sale of the team.

The owners voted unanimously to approve the sale of the Commanders to Josh Harris and his ownership group, which means Snyder will walk away with a big payday, and his toxic work environment and shady tactics in the nation’s capital have ended.

Following the NFL owners voting to approve the sale, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell released a statement about the long-awaited sale of the team, congratulating Harris and his ownership group while welcoming all those involved to the NFL, via Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.

With Snyder finally out as owner of the struggling Commanders, the once-proud franchise can get back on track with Harris and company doing all they can to repair the damage done and make this team relevant once again in the NFC.

It’ll be interesting to see what changes will be made as the new ownership group takes control and whether Harris and his people can really make significant changes to get this franchise back on track to be a force to be reckoned with.

Only time will tell if the Commanders are genuinely in a better place with Harris and his ownership group in charge, as there will be a lot of work to be done in Washington D.C., to steer the ship back in the right direction in the coming years.
