The New York Yankees have fallen on hard times.
They have dropped eight of their last 10 games and are currently riding a four-game losing streak, which has sunk them to the bottom of the ever-competitive American League East division.
New York still owns a winning record, and they only sit four games back of a Wild Card spot.
However, things have gotten worse in the Bronx.
Still, Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic predicts that the Yankees will not end up doing a full sell at the deadline as a result of their struggles, and he discussed his thoughts on the matter on the MLB podcast “Foul Territory.”
Will the #Yankees concede? @Ken_Rosenthal doesn’t think so.

Rosenthal acknowledged that the Yankees are currently at a “critical crossroads.”
However, he did state that he finds it hard to believe that the Yankees will ultimately sell at the trade deadline.
Rosenthal noted that in due time, Aaron Judge and other injured stars will come back, which may give them a better chance to move closer to a playoff spot.
He proposed the idea of the Yankees making moves in both directions at this year’s deadline, essentially buying and selling.
New York has an older roster and their payroll is among the highest of all teams in the league.
Rosenthal recalled the 2016 season, which was the last time the Yankees sold at the deadline, saying that he currently sees some similarities to that deadline.
Rosenthal noted that now would be a good time for the Yankees to look at a few things and determine which direction they plan on going.
