Cincinnati Reds infielder Elly De La Cruz keeps impressing the baseball universe with his incredible tools.

Yes, he has slowed down a bit after a scintillating start, but he is still an asset for the Reds even when he is not producing at the plate.

Great players always find a way to impact the game, and this is what De La Cruz has been doing.

On Thursday, he established yet another record.

He had scored the fastest infield throw in the Statcast era a few days ago.

However, he broke his own record (again!) while making a relay throw to get a runner out at home plate.

You must watch this:

“This Elly De La Cruz: throw? 99.8 MPH. Another record for the fastest tracked infield assist!” Codify Baseball wrote.

Reds starter Andrew Abbott was on the mound against the San Francisco Giants, pitching a gem, when he allowed hard contact over the gaps.

Will Benson fielded the ball and threw it to the infield, when De La Cruz picked it up.

There, he threw a laser to home plate at nearly 100 mph, breaking his own record in the process.

The throw was slightly off the plate but it was so fast that it gave the catcher enough time to get his body across the plate and tag the runner and prevent a run from scoring in a close game.

So yes, De La Cruz might be more of an average hitter at this moment (as his 99 wRC+ and .763 OPS suggest), but he can impact a game with his speed, defense, or arm.

And when he catches fire again with the bat, look out.
