The New York Jets might have had the best offseason of any NFL team.

That is because they acquired legendary quarterback Aaron Rodgers from the Green Bay Packers.

Rodgers looks like the missing piece that could help lead the Jets back to the playoffs.

New York finished last season with a 7-10 record.

But the lack of solid quarterback play was truly astounding.

Whoever was at quarterback each week continued to let them down.

That should be the case no more with Rodgers now under center.

Cris Collinsworth went on “Up & Adams” to discuss the Jets for the upcoming season.

He said they deserve all the hype they are getting.

“They didn’t have a QB that was playing at THAT level…Now they got one.”@CollinsworthPFF believes all the hype surrounding Aaron Rodgers and the Jets.

He mentioned that the Jets have a loaded roster and should find themselves in Super Bowl contention.

It all depends on what version of Rodgers they will get.

He is turning 40 years old in December and coming off a disappointing statistical season.

But the Jets need him to be an MVP candidate if they are going to make a deep run.

This is the most hype surrounding a Jets team in the last decade.

Most of that is due to Rodgers, but also how strong their defense is.

The Jets have a defensive head coach in Robert Saleh and some elite defensive players.

Both Quinnen Williams and Sauce Gardner were first-team All-Pro players and they are in the prime of their careers.

This Jets team should be good this season, but ultimately it will all fall at the feet of Rodgers.
