The Baltimore Ravens are one team that not many people are talking about this year.
But they are a team that seems much improved headed into the 2023 season.
After re-signing Lamar Jackson to a long-term extension the Ravens seem poised to contend for years to come.
One spot where the Ravens should be more explosive this year is at wide receiver.
They added Odell Beckham Jr. in free agency and drafted Zay Flowers in the first round of the NFL Draft.
Not to mention they already have Rashod Bateman on the roster who just needs to stay healthy.
Craig Carton believes the Ravens could contend for the AFC title this year.
He thinks they are a team that people should not sleep on, per his show.

Outside of the wide receivers they added, Baltimore also has an elite tight end in Mark Andrews.
He is probably the second-best tight end in the NFL behind Travis Kelce.
Andrews can do it all from a receiving standpoint.
Two seasons ago, Andrews was named first-team All-Pro.
But last year was a down year mostly because Jackson missed a plethora of games.
It seems like every season the Ravens are competitive.
That could be in part because their head coach John Harbaugh is a good one.
Even last year they made the playoffs despite Tyler Huntley having to start four games.
The Ravens seem poised to return to the top of the AFC.
Having a quarterback like Jackson and a new-look offense should help them reach that goal.
