The New England Patriots will roll into the 2023 season with Mac Jones as their quarterback.
Jones is the heir-apparent to Tom Brady and will look to get the Patriots back to their winning ways in his third year.
Throughout the 2022 season, at times, it appeared that there was significant tension between Jones and Bill Belichick.
However, in a recent press conference, Jones’ comments indicated this wouldn’t be an issue in the upcoming season.
According to Henry McKenna of FOX Sports, Jones said, “I think there were a lot of learning experiences from last year that we talked about.”

Jones added, “This year, it’s all about working together.”
The organization was filled with a winning culture during Brady’s tenure with the Patriots.
Jones did help lead the Patriots to the postseason in his rookie year but couldn’t recapture that magic in year two.
Part of last year’s season could be explained by his relationship with Belichick, which was sometimes strained.
Jones will look to bounce back in year three as they have allegedly mended their differences.
Many pundits around the league have questioned Jones’ ability to lead this team, given his lack of dynamic numbers on the stat sheet.
However, the Patriots have made a few offensive changes throughout the offseason, hoping to assist Jones in the passing game.
