Tony Pollard is slated to enter the 2023 NFL season as the Dallas Cowboys lead back.
This is a new role for him, as the team has recently cut ties with Ezekiel Elliott.
While Pollard has shown flashes of brilliance when Elliott hasn’t been on the field, the 2023 campaign will test his abilities.
If Pollard’s recent comments are any indication, he’s more than willing to step up to this challenge.
According to Jon Machota of The Athletic, Pollard said, “Whatever they throw at me, I’m going to make the most of it, and we’ll see how that goes.”

The Cowboys’ offense is slated to look a lot different this year, given their amount of offseason changes.
Not only will they have a lead back, but they’ll have a new offensive coordinator, given the departure of Kellen Moore.
Brian Schottenheimer has taken over that role but is expected to take a backseat to Mike McCarthy regarding play-calling.
Regardless of any test Pollard and this offense will take, it appears that they are ready for anything.
The Cowboys have faced significant public scrutiny over the past few years, a trend that seems to be growing.
As of late, Dak Prescott’s ability to lead this team has been questioned, given their lack of deep postseason runs.
This roster seems to have everything they need to succeed.
