The Boston Red Sox, like many teams in Major League Baseball, own special City Connect uniforms, which pay homage to the city of Boston and the history of the Red Sox organization.
These uniforms consist of blue helmets and yellow jerseys.
Interestingly enough, these uniforms seem to be somewhat of a good luck charm for the Red Sox.
After defeating the Atlanta Braves on Wednesday night, they improved their record to an impressive 21-4 in games played with the special City Connect uniforms since their inception in 2021.
On Twitter, MLB posted a graphic showing the Red Sox record when they wear these special and unique uniforms.

Sometimes, a uniform can be a good luck charm.
Such was the case for the Washington Nationals in 2019 when they made their run to the World Series.
They wore their alternate navy-blue jerseys and blue caps with the red brim.
Washington went on to win the World Series that year.
The World Series won’t be decided for a few months, but it’s clear that the Red Sox are playing quite well when they wear these jerseys.
They don’t feature the typical Red Sox colors, but they are a hit with the fans.
And if the Red Sox keep winning while wearing them, they’ll become even more popular.
The team has played six games in these uniforms in 2023.
They have won all six of them.
It remains to be seen if this is a sign of things to come for the Sox, but they’re having good luck with the jerseys at the moment.
