The New York Jets have made significant investments throughout the offseason to break a 12-year playoff drought.
They have not only added Aaron Rodgers to their offense but have added several other pieces alongside him.
These additions have included two former Green Bay Packers teammates, Randall Cobb, and Allen Lazard.
In a recent segment of The Carton Show on FS1, host Craig Carton believes that another former Packers player could enter this organization.
“I guarantee you that there will be reports coming out of Vegas that Davante Adams will want out,” Carton said via Jets reporter J. Gray.

Adams and Rodgers spent eight years together in Green Bay, establishing quite the quarterback-receiver connection.
During those eight years, Adams’ 73 touchdowns were the second-highest total in the league.
As Carton suggests, Adams could request a trade to the Jets, reuniting him with Rodgers on a new roster.
While this might initially seem like an outlandish claim, it seems like anything can happen in the NFL.
Recently, more and more players have publically requested trades, putting their current teams in a difficult position.
Adams is still one of the league’s top receivers, and if he does request a trade from the Raiders, they could get a relatively good haul in return for him.
Adams hasn’t commented on this situation for now, and there aren’t any strong indications that he’s leaving the Raiders anytime soon.
With just over a month before the NFL season begins, this could be a situation to monitor moving forward.
