The Philadelphia Eagles, for the most part, dominated the NFC in 2022.

They finished the year with a 14-3 record and won their first two playoff games by over 20 points.

Despite this dominance throughout the year, they ultimately fell short of their title aspirations, falling to the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl.

In a recent photo that Eagles Nation shared, Jalen Hurts’ phone lock screen portrayed an image of him walking off the field after this loss.

Amid a celebration for the Chiefs, Hurts was seen walking off the field, disappointed in the game’s outcome.

It appears that Hurts is using this photo as motivation for the upcoming year, propelling him to even greater heights.

Throughout his career thus far, Hurts has received criticism, as many have believed he’s not able to be a franchise quarterback.

However, after being a finalist in the league’s MVP voting and leading his team to the title game, Hurts is working to change his public perception.

Plus, the Eagles signed him to one of the most significant contracts in NFL history, putting their faith in Hurts moving forward.

The real question is whether Hurts can live up to the massive expectations he’s placed upon himself.

The organization has paid him handsomely and has equipped him with plenty of talented skill-position players on this offense.

Plus, the Eagles’ offensive line is routinely touted as one of the league’s best, another reason he should be successful this year.

Will Hurts’ newfound motivation result in another Lombardi Trophy for this historic organization?
