The defending World Series champion Houston Astros had a day to remember on Tuesday.
Hours before their game against the Cleveland Guardians, they re-acquired Justin Verlander from the New York Mets to bolster their rotation.
Framber Valdez then took the mound for the defending champs and tossed a no-hitter against the Guardians.
Interestingly enough, MLB analyst Chris Rose made a key prediction before the game.
Rose mentioned on Twitter, that it was very possible Valdez would throw a no-hitter on the same night the Astros brought back a guy who had already thrown three in his career.
Sure enough, Rose was right.
Jomboy Media reposted Rose’s tweet.

Rose is a well-known fan of the Guardians and ultimately predicted that Valdez would throw a no-hitter against his favorite team.
Unfortunately for the famous sports insider, he was right.
Valdez carved up a masterpiece against the Guardians and only allowed one baserunner the entire game.
The Astros ace walked one batter and struck out seven as he dominated the Guardians.
But rarely does a fan of one team predict that they’ll be no-hit.
However, Rose got a double whammy of disappointment.
His team was no-hit, and he made the prediction that it was going to happen.
The Guardians fell to two games below the .500 mark as a result of their loss to the Astros on Tuesday night and will now look to avoid a series loss in Wednesday’s game against the defending World Series champions.
Rose may also be a little more careful when making his predictions going forward.
