Fans of the Oklahoma City Thunder have been waiting more than a year to see what Chet Holmgren is capable of.
He was chosen as the second overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft and some saw him as the future of the team.
The idea of him playing alongside Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Josh Giddey, and others was tantalizing and exciting.
Of course, dreams were dashed last summer when Holmgren was injured and forced to miss all of last season.
But his official entry into the NBA is approaching and Holmgren is preparing for it.
The NBA released a video of Holmgren practicing on the court with skills trainer Drew Hanlen.
In the video, Holmgren is moving with ease and shooting from all over.

With this video and other footage we have seen from Holmgren, hope is returning to OKC.
At seven-feet tall and 195 pounds, some people have been concerned about Holmgren’s physicality.
Does he have what it takes to battle it out with some of the intimidating, strong players in the league?
His injury last summer raised that question in a huge way and many worried that injuries will be a regular issue for him.
But the video above shows that Holmgren won’t just rely on his size.
He is putting effort into perfecting his perimeter shooting too.
This will allow him more versatility – and less chance of being injured.
Of course, he will still be a very physical player and it appears as if he has been in the gym a lot lately, working on his conditioning and size.
Everything we have seen from Holmgren lately should get Thunder fans excited again.
The Holmgren era is about to begin.
