The Dallas Cowboys moved on from Kellen Moore as offensive coordinator, which was a somewhat surprising decision, considering they had an explosive offense despite their evident limitations at the quarterback position.
They’ve taken an understandable approach to revamping their defense, understanding that they have a better chance to win football games when they’re on the field.
More than that, all the things they’ve said about Dak Prescott this offseason make it seem like they’re just pacifying him, and there’s no way they’re going to beat the Philadelphia Eagles with that approach, at least according to Stephen A. Smith.

Smith — who’s a bona fide and confessed anti-Cowboys individual — stated that Prescott is simply “not that dude,” adding that his very own team and teammates know it, which is why they’ve done and said all they’ve said over the past couple of months.
Regardless of Prescott’s promises not to throw double-digit interceptions next season, Smith claims that the Cowboys know they cannot trust him when the game is on the line.
He also pointed out the fact that Dak was the only quarterback in NFL history to lead the league in interceptions despite missing five games.
All things considered, it feels like Prescott will be under a tremendous amount of pressure next season, and taking baby steps and keeping him on a short leash could only mess with his confidence.
He’ll have a lot of critics to silence, and that’s going to be way easier said than done after so many years of unimpressive play.
