The Dallas Cowboys are a team in the NFC that is expected to make a lot of noise during the upcoming 2023 NFL season, with the team being stacked on both sides of the football.
Although the defense has stolen a lot of headlines throughout the summer, as many believe Dallas could be elite on that side of the football, the offense is still as formidable as ever, with star quarterback Dak Prescott leading the charge under center.
Even though it seems as though everything is clicking in Dallas, that didn’t seem to be the case earlier this week when star cornerback Trevon Diggs went viral for screaming profanities at Prescott.
This led many to believe Diggs and his teammates don’t respect Prescott, a veteran quarterback in this league who has paid his dues while being the leader for Dallas.
On Thursday, Diggs was asked about the incident between him and Prescott, and it sparked a chippy response from the Pro Bowler, according to Calvin Watkins of the Dallas Morning News.
Trevon Diggs on how his trash talk with Dak Prescott could be perceived he doesn’t respect him: “Stay out of (our) business.” He added: “Dak is the leader of our team.”

With everyone from the fans and the media hearing what Diggs said to Prescott, it’s safe to say that the Cowboys coaching staff likely had a word with the recently re-signed cornerback.
Diggs going after Prescott the way he did is obviously not a good look, especially when it makes the rounds on all the talk shows and becomes a hot topic of discussion.
This incident will likely follow Diggs and Prescott moving forward, and it could become a talking point all season long if the Cowboys fail to live up to expectations throughout the 2023 campaign.
