Guard Jalen Brunson had quite a year last season.
He left the Dallas Mavericks to join the New York Knicks last summer, and he raised his game to new heights, averaging 24.0 points and 6.2 assists a game while helping to lead the Knicks to an unexpected playoff berth.
He is set to represent Team USA in the upcoming FIBA World Cup, and during a scrimmage, he converted a four-point play that was something to behold, via SNY.

Brunson had his coming-out party during the 2022 NBA playoffs, when he started to emerge as a worthy talent next to Luka Doncic.
After the Mavs fell apart and lost in the second round of the playoffs, it was expected that the guard would re-sign as a free agent with them, but he instead headed east to the Big Apple.
He was perhaps the biggest reason New York defied almost all expectations and finished fifth in the Eastern Conference while winning their first playoff series since the 2012-13 season.
His father, Rick Brunson, is an assistant coach for the Knicks, and some feel it was a factor in him joining the team a year ago.
The Knicks are a long-suffering franchise that has struggled for most of the last 20 years, and now the challenge for them is to build on what they did this past season and become a contender.
There are some questions about how well Julius Randle ultimately fits in, but Brunson is just 26 years of age, so perhaps he still has some room for improvement moving forward.
